For hands-free operation, ReviewButler's Kiosk Mode (Android) or Guided Access (iOS) lets you leave your tablet or phone with customers without risking device access. Open the survey runner in the app and hold the Logo at the top for 3 seconds to enable the Kiosk Mode, and the reviewer stays locked in—unable to exit to settings or the home screen without your security code. This creates a dedicated, secure space for feedback, perfect for busy counters or self-service setups.

Activating and Exiting Kiosk Mode

  • In the App: Tap the logo three times at the top of the screen in the survey area, then enter your passcode to start or stop the mode.
  • iOS Guided Access Setup: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Guided Access on your device. Set a passcode (or enable Touch ID/Face ID). To begin: Open the app and triple-click the Home button (or side button on iPhone X and later). To end: Triple-click again, enter your passcode, and tap End (or double-click if using biometrics).
