How do I link my Instagram channel with ProvenExpert to post reviews?

To use the Social Sharing feature for Instagram, you will be asked to log in to Facebook first of all.

There are two ways to link your Instagram account:

Option 1: Connect Instagram page while preparing a post with the Social Sharing feature

• To publish your review in a post, you must activate the social media channel on which you want to post.
• To do this, flip the switch for Instagram:

• You will then be asked to connect your Facebook account. An extra window will open for this.
  
  
  
  
• Enter your Facebook account login details here.
• Make sure that you grant the requested permissions in the login process to enable you to post directly to your Instagram page with ProvenExpert.
• "XARA Social Media Posting" refers to our technology partner XARA GmbH.
  
  
  
  
• If you have several Instagram pages in your Instagram account, you will be asked once when you log in to choose where you would like to post.

• You can then change your selection at any time on the Administration > Connected Accounts page by clicking on "SWITCH":

• You can recognize that you have linked a social media account on the Social Sharing page by the fact that the names of your pages are displayed:

Option 2:  Connect Instagram on the “Connected Accounts page”

• Alternatively, you can navigate to the "Administration" section in the page navigation, where you will find the “Connected Accounts page”.
• On this page you have the option of linking an Instagram channel.

• If you click on this option, the connection process is initiated and proceeds as described above.
• You will be asked to enter your Facebook login details and give our platform and our technology partner XARA GmbH permission to post.

Once connected, you can seamlessly share your reviews on Instagram using the social sharing feature.

• The connections of your social channels with ProvenExpert are safe and secure.
• We attach great importance to the protection of your privacy and will never act without your clear consent.
• You have complete control over your social media accounts and you alone are authorized to manage the link, i.e. you can disconnect at any time on the “Connected Accounts page”.
